Boy’s Town 5th Annual Foster Care Picnic

What makes someone powerful?  Is it money?  Muscles?  Here at Xenon Academy we know that how you make someone feel is powerful.  Xenon Academy’s students played a role in that belief at the Boy’s Town 5th Annual Foster Care Picnic on June 21st.

Just by doing a simple sock bun or painting a butterfly on a tiny face, our students were making an impact, even if just for a moment, on a child or young adult.  If our goal was to make others feel good about themselves, then we surpassed it and when we were thanked, every time our response was “this is what we do.”
